SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance

New York egg prices are unchanged on larger sizes, 1 cent lower
for Medium.  California and regional prices are steady.  The
undertone is steady to barely steady.  Supplies are mixed,
generally moderate for current needs.  The shell egg inventory
is 1.5 percent lower when compared to the previous week.
Demand into retail and distributive channels is moderate to
fairly good on the East coast, while light to moderate elsewhere.
Offerings are light to usually moderate.  Market activity is
slow to moderate in California and the Midwest, moderate in
the remaining areas.  Breaking stock offerings are in a full
range, mostly light to moderate; demand is light.  Breaking
stock inventory is down 1.2 percent from last week.  Spent
fowl supplies are sufficient for normal to less than normal
processing schedules.
